Which cities are the best places to visit for home renovation?

The most expensive cities to live in for home remodeling are cities in the United States and Canada, according to new data.

New data from real estate agent Redfin shows that in the U.S. and Canada people spent $7,000 on home renovation services per person in 2017, compared with $8,500 in 2016.

The difference between the two years was primarily due to an uptick in the number of people moving into the U-verse market.

Redfin’s report is based on a survey of the average price of a home in each state.
